Nene Park

The Nene Park Trust wanted to embark on a complete website redesign that allowed for easy but all-inclusive content management. As the various recreational spaces and wildlife habitats that are managed by the Nene Park trust continually host events throughout the year, there was an inherent requirement for an efficient content management system that could be utilised by multiple web editors.

We developed a completely customised, intuitive Umbraco-powered CMS that allows for rapid website front-end updates and easy news and events management. The Nene Valley website now also features customisable side navigations throughout each category, as well as a highly practical Google Maps API and Geolocation API integration.

These tools allow users to plot pointers on a map together with pertinent information and media if required, effectively creating a handy interactive map-based calendar of events for Nene Valley visitors.
