We were approached by Chair Office to rebrand and rebuild their very busy online store to allow for more growth, and improve customer conversions. Perhaps our biggest challenge was to try and ensure that the existing high search engine ranking was not significantly affected by the website rebuild.
The site also needed to have a number of new features, to improve the ordering and administration processes - these new features include PDF invoicing that allows customers to download and a recently viewed feature, and a custom filtering facility within the product categories. The site re-brand extended as far as communications and marketing material, and we were charged with ensuring that all correspondance carried out by Chair Office - from email signatures to eNewsletters - carried the rebranded logos and lettering.
The planning, redesign, rebranding and web development was undertaken over a 3 month period, with the client able to add products during this build process. The end result has been positive - the rebuilt website has not only transformed the company's online presence and allowed them to sell an increasingly diverse array of products, but importantly the client's search engine rankings were far from negatively affected by the build - they have actually seen a 16% rise in completed orders since the site went live.
